Program Types
Master Plan A
Type A (1): Thesis research only. Min. of 45 credits required. Additional non-credit courses or activities may be required.
Type A (2): Coursework and thesis research. Min. of 45 credits required, at least 15 of which are thesis credits, and at least 15 are course credits.
Master Plan B
Coursework and independent study. Min. of 45 credits required, at least 38 of which are course credits, and 4-7 are credits of independent study.

Note: If the information and documents given are found false or misleading, the university reserves the right to reject the application.
Ph.D
Type 1: Thesis research only. Min. of 90 credits for Bachelor’s degree holders and minimum of 60 credits for Master’s degree holders required. Additional non-credit courses may be required.
Type 2: Coursework and thesis research. Min. of 60 thesis credits and 30 course credits required for Bachelor’s degree’s holder. Min. of 45 thesis credits and 15 course credits required for Master’s degree holder
When to Apply
- SUT Graduate Program is open for application all year round, applicants can choose to start study any term (except School of Foreign Language open in the first term only)
- Applicants should consider submitting an application form at least 30-45 days before the term starts since it takes time for visa application (Non-Immigrant ED Visa type). For some countries such as China, South Asia countries and South Africa countries should spare time for 2 months for visa application.

Registration Fee: 2,400 Thai Baht/Credit
Students pay in each trimester depend on how many credit enrolled
(45-48 Credits for Master Program/64 Credits for Ph.D. Programs)
General Insurance Fee: 6,000 Thai Baht
(To be returned to the students when leaving the university upon graduation or due to the termination of student status or quitting the university. The amount returned is the final sum after deduction of, if any, costs of damage to the university’s properties and assets and other debts that the students owe to the university.)
University Maintenance Fee: 20,000 Thai Baht/Year (Educational Service Fee, Library Fee, Sports Fee, etc)
