Suranaree University of Technology is proud to announce its commitment to fostering global education by offering scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate students. These scholarships are designed to encourage academic excellence and promote internationalization at SUT.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously created the initiative for Thailand to implement an international cooperation project in educational development for international students from ASEAN countries to pursue higher education. Therefore, in order to humbly embrace H.R.H Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s royal initiative and generate universality, the University humbly presented the Scholarship fund according to the royal initiative to be granted to international students in the ASEAN region seeking the opportunity to pursue higher education in the international program of Bachelor’s Degree at Suranaree University of Technology.
No more than 20 scholarships per academic year.
The International programmes in undergraduate level are divided into Institutes and courses as follows:
- Institute of Engineering : Offer for 3 eligible courses which provide 5 scholarships for each course, giving the total of 15 scholarships
- Institute of Agriculture : Offer for 1 eligible course with the total of 5 scholarships
Scholarships for SUT Graduate International Students are aimed at providing international undergraduate students earning class honors with an opportunity to pursue study at SUT graduate schools.
The Scholarship provision shall increase the internationalization of Suranaree University of Technology in numerous aspects, such as gaining public attention at the international level, creating educational settings for both undergraduate and graduate students, forming an international network and collaboration, etc. The provision will also develop SUT students, both in quantity and quality.
No more than 20 scholarships per academic year including both for Master’s and Doctoral programs shall be provided to Scholarship Recipients.
- Applicants need to be international students earning Bachelor’s degree with honors and applying for Master’s program, a continuous Master’s/Doctoral program, or a Doctoral program.
- International Applicants with a Master’s degree and a GPAX of over than 3.5 from other education institutes applying for the Scholarship of Doctoral program need to publish at least one international journal in the top position (Q1) or middle-high position (Q2) level of the Scopus database.
- Applicants need to have competent English language skills by taking an English proficiency test and achieve at least minimum scores in response to SUT requirements.
- Applicants need not be recipients of other scholarships elsewhere.
